William Engelhaupt graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake, with a B.S. in Environmental Management and a B.S. in Government. Upon graduation and while completing law school, William began a successful career as an Environmental Manager and Project Manager for two large and prominent companies.
William's keen interest in law, and a desire to help people persuaded him to study to be an attorney. William graduated from South Texas College of Law and began practicing as an attorney with a firm in the Pearland Area. He soon decided to open his own law practice in Sugar Land focusing on Probate, Estate Planning, Wills, Living Wills, and Real Estate.

Through the years, William's experience has made him sympathetic to the special needs of families dealing with grief, and as he has seen firsthand the many problems faced by those left behind when there is no adequate will, or living will in place, William encourages his clients to make proper provision, and tries to minimize the problems faced by the bereaved by providing sound advice and guidance during the creation of his client's will or living will. |

William has a vast amount of experience in Probate and Probate Litigation cases, including Independent Administrations, Dependent Administrations and Muniment of Title. Recently William has expanded his practice to include Guardianship proceedings for elderly individuals, along with the preparation of Wills, Living Wills, Medical Power of Attorneys and Financial Power of Attorneys to assist families in planning for the future. |

William is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Fort Bend Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Texas Bar, the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Section of the Texas Bar, and the TCEQ Small Business Advisory Council. He is also certified as a guardian ad litem in probate and guardianship proceedings in Texas.
On a personal note, he served four years in the United States Navy, and was stationed in Alaska and San Diego. He enjoys golfing, football, reading and spending time with his family.
